HAPPY BIRTHDAY........
Today is a special day for me, not only is it my last exam for this sem but more importantly its my best friends birthday. Most of you know her, but for those who don't, her name is, Precious Nyoni. As her name states she is a precious person in my life and I owe her more than I could ever repay.
She has been there for me through the tough times and through the happy times. She has been by my side encouraging me to be a better person than I was yesterday, and I must say I truly miss her indeed. Not even Picasso could paint a picture perfect enough representing our friendship. Its not easy maintaining a friendship when people are so far apart. (more than 10000 mile) to be exact. But it is always comforting to know that there is always one person out there thinking of you and praying for you.
I will tell you one of my most cherished moments with my friend. It was a Sabbath afternoon just finished church we took a drive to have our Sabbath lunch, to tell the truth I didn't know where we were going and she had forgotten the directions hehehehhe......, after driving a considerable distance we conceded that we were lost and back tracked. On our way back we saw the turn that we had not taken and took it. Well I guess she wanted to surprise me, because she said she wanted to take we to a beautiful botanical garden. I really liked it there I didn't even know such a place existed. It was beautiful indeed and perfect for a Sabbath afternoon lunch. You the usual, we talked reminisced on old times and laughed so much (I really miss those days) after taking a long walk in the park and her complaining that the mosquito's were turning her into dinner we headed back for Harare. It is times like this that make me realize how fortunate I am to have a friend like her, and realize how much I truly miss her.
Pre, I want you to know that You will always be dear to me, come thunder, storm or sunshine. You will always have a permanent place in my heart, and when things get rough and we are so far apart I just want you to know that there are still two people who love YOU and are still praying for YOU, that's (God and me)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY FRIEND

The Word of God Your Guide

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Ps. 119:105.If we would work wisely and intelligently, our human passions, ourhereditary and cultivated tendencies, must be brought under the controlof a higher and more commanding generalship than human ability. . . . "Cease to do evil; learn to do well." This is the lesson everyone shouldlearn day by day. The training due to one's self comes first. Theinfluence exerted by a life of strict integrity will be a continualeducation to others. Those who are restrained and guided by the moraland religious principles plainly laid down in God's Word walk inaccordance with the mind and will of God, who is too wise to err and toogood to do us harm.If you would walk wisely, walk in the way of God's commandments. TheWord of God you have in your keeping, right at hand. This Word is soplain that none need go astray unless they allow themselves to be led bytheir hereditary and cultivated tendencies to wrong. Your Redeemer metSatan's treacherous advances with the words, "It is written," and withthe imperative command, "Get thee behind me, Satan." I counsel you toreceive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save yoursoul. The Word of God is your haven. It is a tower of strength, intowhich you may run and be safe. . . . The earnest, sincere searcher for truth will not mistake truth forerror. The Word of God is the bread of life, of which all may partakeand obtain eternal life. Error is falsehood and deception. Those whopartake of it must suffer in consequence, as did Adam and Eve in Eden.It is the privilege of all to search with prayerful, eager interest forthe truth. Truth is the tree of life, the leaves of which the humanfamily are to eat and live. Those who try to interpret the Word according to their own ideas, whoread it in accordance with their opinions, will never see the truth, andwill die in their sins. Those who eat of the forbidden tree acceptSatan's fallacies in the place of "Thus saith the Lord," and unless theyrepent, they will never gain that life which measures with the life ofGod. As did Adam and Eve, they exclude themselves from the tree of life, the fruit of which perpetuates immortality. . . . We are living amid the solemnities of the judgment. Our souls should befilled with awe, for we are in God's presence continually. Each one mustdecide for himself whether he will obey and live or disobey and perish. To those who obey, the Word of God is the tree of life. It is the wordof salvation, received unto eternal life. From Devotional: Our Father Cares, p. 263.
