RETURN TO SENDER by Dwight Nelson

This sermon is very interesting Dwight talks about how unselfish hearts attract the attention of God. He starts of by talking about Cornelius (Acts 10) and how God blessed him for his unselfishness, Dwight later talks about Elijah and the widow (1Kings 17) and she got blessed by having trust and an unselfish heart.

He then brings what I believe to be the gist of the presentation the fact about Tithes and Offering. It is to deal with our selfishness that God instituted tithes (Education pg.44), God gives all things and he stamps on 10% of what He gives "Return To Sender", not that He needs the money God is the last being to need money for He owns everything. He wants us to be like Him says Pastor Dwight, He emptied all of Heaven to save us and through this unselfishness He showed us his true character and that is the character of love.

HOUR OF THE WITCH, Steve Wohlberg

This is a wonderful book that bring to light the Devils new schemes to get young people into his fold. This book (which also has seminars) contrasts bestselling books like Harry Potter, WICCA's guide to white magic, etc to the Bible. Steve Wohlberg goes on to discuss the reasons why children are getting into witchcraft. He attributes the growth in witchcraft to three main things....,

1. Movies, Video Games etc i.e Hollywood

2. The Internet i.e Occult websites

3. Books i.e Harry Potter, WICCA's guide to white magic

These may seem harmless to the average person, but there is a deeper power that is out there waiting to destroy everyone and everything it comes into contact with. The devil is very cunning friends as the Bible puts it, he is a wolf in sheep's skin deceiving the masses out to destroy man kind. What is so sad is that most parents are not worried because they are happy that their children are turning off the "TVs and reading books". But how many parents have taken time to check the content of the materials that their children are reading today.

Steve brings evidence to the fact that the occult organisations or movements have had a great influx of enquiries about witchcraft and how to become a witch mainly from young people. This is very disheartening , to see so many young people being lead to the slaughter so blindly. Steve reviews the Harry Potter series and compares it to the real thing and one thing I can tell you, you will be shocked. Steve Wohlberg makes some recommendation as to what kind of books we should allow children to read and how to defend ourselves from witchcraft.

I would recommend that if you have a child, plan on having a child, deal with children, or know someone who has children that you may read this book or watch the seminars. And let the Lord impress upon your heart His message.

Christ Calls For Unity

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee,that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thouhast sent me. John 17:21. We each need the help we can receive from other minds. God will work in other minds than ours. The various gifts given to different ones are to blend for the "perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:12). . . . The Lord Jesus Christ will heal our infirmities and our weaknesses. He owns us. We are His by creation and by redemption. We must all be unitedin Him. He is the only source of healing. All restoring power comes from Him. He has opened a fountain "to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness." He gives each one an invitation to come and behealed, and to drink of the water of life. Let us not trust in ourselves, but in Jesus. There will always be obstacles before us, but we are to follow our Leader, and meet our difficulties unitedly, hand in hand. There is only one way to heaven. We must walk in the footsteps of Jesus, doing His works, even as He did the works of His Father. We must study His ways,not man's ways; we must obey His will, not our own. Walk carefully. Do not go ahead of Christ. Make no move without consulting your Leader. Ask in humble prayer, and "ye shall receive." He is the Way, the Truth, theLife. Read and study carefully the prayer that Christ offered just before His trial, recorded in the seventeenth chapter of John. Follow its teachings, and you will be brought into unity. Our only hope of reaching heaven is to be one with Christ, and then, in and through Christ, weshall be one with one another. No one is called to walk alone. In Christ life and immortality are brought to light. He has opened the way to the kingdom of heaven to those who believe in Him, but He assigns to no onea path different to that which all must travel. He calls for unity, and unity we must have. God asks us to sink self in Christ. For the natural man this is not easy. But through the power of the incarnation ofChrist, God manifest in the flesh, the strength of God is revealed ingentleness and beauty. To "as many as received him, to them gave hepower to become the sons of God." By this power we may overcome our eviltendencies and so modify our imperfect dispositions that the will of Godmay be fulfilled in us.

Well guys just to let you know that today is my birthday and i turn 28,..........man how time moves. It has been a long road filled with joy, laughter, sorrows and tears, however blessed be the name of the Lord God for He has seen me through. Even though I haven't been the best of of His children He has keep me alive for a reason.

There is a purpose for everyone being who they are and were they are. I just wise my purpose could be revealed to me. Until it is I will just have to do my best and live a good life. Trying not to fall in the event i do, trying not to forget to ask for forgiveness.

Thank you Lord for being there for me and blessed be Your name for Jehovah is His name.
